This is for you Brian!

These are some of the symtoms Brian, because I know you're going to ask. You have an insatiable thirst for knowledge on these sorts of things, and pretty much everything else. I admire that.

Symptoms

Intolerance to cold
Weight gain - mild
Fatigue
Constipation
Enlarged neck or presence of goiter
Small or atrophic thyroid gland (late in the disease)
Dry skin
Hair loss
Heavy and irregular menses
Difficulty concentrating or thinking
Weight gain (unintentional)
Joint stiffness
Facial swelling

I got this from MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia

Other symptoms include loss of hair, brittle/weak nails, muscle and joint pain, and fatigue. Google search "Hashimoto's Thyroiditis" and you get a plethora of informative sites. I like having a friend who shares this thirst for knowledge. Human physiolgy is so interesting! I like researching about humans. Aminals are fun to learn about too. I've also come into a recent fascinations with trees. EEE! I'm bursting here! I need some educational materials that are a little more reliable than internet! Someone please give me 50,000 dollars quick! So I can go to school! (What'll that get me through Bri-Bri? About a year and a half, right?)

LOOOK!

I listed hairloss and fatigue twice. And I meant dry hair the second time I listed hairloss and it still came out wrong.

Obsessive much?

So, are you saying that you have this? Is this a new diagnosis? Prognosis?

Silver lining: It has a Japanese name!
